Gather

a Womens Circle

Lets gather to reconnect.

In a world of disconnect, driven by external authority, lets find our way back to ourselves.

“This is the power of gathering:

it inspires us, delightfully, to be more hopeful, more joyful,

more thoughtful: in a word, more alive." Alice Waters

‘Gather’ is a series of Womens Circles where we’ll gather together, find inspiration and make the time and space to reconnect to yourself in the company of other women.

Inspired by nature, the seasons and cycles. Giving us time and space step outside out high intensity and externally driven lives and to connect inwards held in a collective female energy.

Think of it a little like gathering around a campfire, and having a space to connect, question and be present. Each evening together will be infused with rest, reflection and ritual. A soul nourishing and sacred pause.  Shifting out of the yang, patriarchal way of forcing and pushing, and stepping more into the feminine; aligned with the energetics of Mother Earth, natures cycles and your own unique beat.

Circles are spaces of community, togetherness and subtle support. To celebrate, be witnessed, connect, and share anything your heart is telling you as the journey along your hearts unique path.

Anna Florence

What we’ll do

We’ll invoke the feelings of gathering around a campfire together. Each circle will have its own unique flavour, but always with time to contemplate, self inquire,  and develop your self belief whilst also having the collective energy of other open hearted women. You will be invited to take part in sharing what comes up for you through these practices - a safe and powerful space to practice using and owning your voice - though of course this is always optional.

The format is simple, we gather together to share of ourselves, hear the stories of others, experience the medicine of poetry, of meditation, of nature connection, of being. As a guide each Gather Womens Circle will follow a path similar to this, but each one will unfold uniquely with the group in the moment:

~ Tea on arrival

~ We’ll start with a simple meditation and grounding practice to connect inwards and to the circle

~ Then I’ll share a poem or reflection on a theme around nature and cycles.

~ There will be time to contemplate, reflect, journal and then share as you’d like to. No pressure to share, this is up to you. Listening and being present together may be what you need.

~ A closing ritual and meditation, relaxation or sound bath to close

Each circle is guided by the community of women present. There is no hierarchy. Everyone can be heard and can contribute. This isn’t a yoga event - it’s a chance to pause, to talk, to connect with others and step into the unknowns of something that unfolds organically. Open to anyone, no knowledge or experience required.

What to bring along

~ comfy clothes, we’ll be sitting on the floor. Cosy socks and soft jumper/cardigan can be nice too

~ a drink of water

~ a blanket for the relaxation & meditation at the end

~ an open mind and heart

Who is it for?

~ Anyone who feels the call.

~ Anyone who feels drawn to gather together with meaning and intention

~ Anyone who wants to dial down the external noise. Find a space void of the demands from the outside world, a space to go inwards, to reconnect, to return home. Find a refuge for the spirit of the feminine.

~ Circles can help you to rediscover the power that lives both within and around you, help you to reconnect, to vision, to dream and to rediscover your place in the world.

All women warmly welcomed (women only, supportive, friendly space)

Why circles?

Through the simplicity of coming together in a guided space, you will have the opportunity to connect to something deeply within yourself and within others that can feel rejuvenating and vital.

Circles are honest, open and a way of reimagining and connecting to community. Whilst also coming home to yourself and giving you time and space for self-enquiry. This is your space to tune in, feel and be in deep connection with yourself. Gather will be an opportunity to meet yourself where you are and where you might be. And that is quite magical.
